Shana McQueen, ND

Hello, Lovely! I’m Shana—naturopathic doctor turned functional health consultant, mama, and lifelong student of all things holistic. I made the shift to functional health to connect with and support a broader range of people on their wellness journeys. I embrace the body’s extraordinary capacity to heal itself, and love serving as a guide for people on their way into wellness and better health.
Much of my clinical experience in the past as a naturopathic doctor has been focused on helping people with a variety of digestive, mental health, and hormonal imbalances. I particularly love working with stressed out women (often moms) who need help addressing their anxiety and gut issues at the same time – trust me, these often go hand in hand. It’s such a reward guiding someone toward transformation of their emotional and mental well-being by optimizing gut health as a starting point!
My Medical Training…
I obtained my doctorate degree in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University (Washington State) in 2010. After that I completed a year-long residency in family medicine in the Vail Valley of Colorado. Prior to medical school, I graduated with a Bachelors in Biology and Chemistry. I continuously expand my natural medicine knowledge and expertise through continuing medical education.
In My Spare Time…
Nothing feeds my soul more than spending time outdoors and with my family. I love gardening, hanging out with animals (chickens especially make me laugh!), cooking healthy meals, and of course learning new exciting things about how the body can heal!
